Romantic Cottage

The freestanding thatched cottage, dating back to 1707, is the oldest building on the Estate and initially served as the wine cellar. It has been lovingly restored and is ideal for honeymoon couples or guests seeking additional privacy. With a footprint of 85 sqm the ground floor boasts a large open plan lounge and two bathrooms (one with shower and one with a jet bath). Four French doors lead to private patio overlooking the horse paddocks and the Groenberg Mountains. A staircase leads to the spacious bedroom under the thatched roof which overlooks the paddocks and the Manor House. The bedroom consists of a king size bed, a dressing table and a separate small toilet room. As it stands a short distance from the main house, the cottage offers a private minibar.

Elegant Suites

Located on the ground floor in the Manor House, the Elegant Suites consist of a bedroom with an extra length king/twin bed, a seating area and an en-suite bathroom with twin basins, large shower and a freestanding Victorian bathtub. The bespoke Suites are individually appointed with an eclectic mix of custom made and antique furniture, all with their own unique décor and colour scheme. Each Suite offers views of the mountains and gardens and has direct access to an outdoor seating area. A private in-room dining area competes the experience.

Superior Loft Rooms

The Loft Rooms are within the Manor House and accessed via an internal spiral staircase that opens onto a large but cosy communal lounge. The spacious Superior Loft Rooms have extra length king/twin beds, a small seating area with comfortable lounge chairs and a walk-in closet. A soft coir carpet, luxury soft furniture and the fragrant thatch roof add to the warm and homey atmosphere while strategically placed mirrors give a sense of space. In the en-suite bathrooms, guests can enjoy twin basins, illuminated mirrors and a free-standing Victorian bathtub with shower overhead.

Luxury Loft Room

The Manor House dates back to around 1730 and has seen many changes and additions during the years. From a long house, it evolved into a T-shape, then the traditional H-shape and eventually the “H” was extended, but only on the north facing side. Since the Luxury Loft Room is located on the opposite side, it is smaller than the Superior Loft Rooms, but with a footprint of 32 sqm still offers ample space. While the room has a standard-length king/twin bed and does not offer a separate seating area and walk in closet, it has been lovingly furnished with a gilded chest, an antique suitcase and twin delft sinks.
